Off-piste skiing is becoming increasingly popular thanks to the improvement in equipment and the opportunity to ski on untouched snow far away from the crowds.

Three day Masterclass

3 day Off Piste Masterclass This course is based on developing your technical ability to ski various off piste conditions safely and with confidence. During the course you will receive training with transceiver/shovel/probe, safe travel skills and knowledge to improve your mountain awareness.
Joining requirements - minimum ability is that you can ski all pistes including blacks confidently however during very tricky conditions such as low visibility or ice you may find black runs more challenging.

1 day Off Piste Group Where you ski will depend on conditions, however in and around the Paradiski domain there are excellent low altitude and high altitude off piste opportunities which should enable to group to go ahead regardless of the weather. You will be provided with all the equipment transceiver, probe, shovel and be given a refresher on how to use them in an emergency.
Joining requirements - that you have completed an off piste ski course and been trained in the use of off piste safety equipment.

3 day Off Piste Group There are many off piste itineraries across Les Arc, La Plagne and the surrounding areas. Your Guide will tailor your experience to ensure you get the best of what is available across the domain during your three day Off Piste excursion. You will be provided with all the equipment, transceiver, probe, shovel and given a refresher on how to use them in an emergency.
Joining requirements - you are a competent Off Piste Skier with at least 1 weeks off piste skiing experience.
Six day Hosted Group with Arron

In a first for EGSW2020 we are holding an all-week off-piste hosted excursion ski group. Arron will be joined by an experienced mountain guide who will enable us to access restricted areas including the national park off the back of the Aiguille Rouge (Reserve Naturelle des Hauts de Villaroger). This offers a fabulous 2,000m descent down to Villaroger.
You will be provided with all the equipment transceiver, probe, shovel and be given a refresher on how to use them in an emergency. Where we ski will depend on conditions however there is excellent low altitude and high altitude options in Les Arc, La Plagne and the surrounding areas.
Joining requirements - At least 2 weeks off piste skiing experience.

In order for the Off-Piste activities to go ahead, they need to be arranged in advance as the High Mountain Guides need to be booked, to ensure their availability.
Members of the Off-Piste activities must have a valid 6-day lift pass for Paradiski area.
If the High Mountain Host decides that no itinerary is possible during our week or if there are not enough participants in your chosen group you will be given a full refund or the option of joining a different group and the difference in your joining fee being refunded.
Off-Piste skiing can be dangerous, this is why we have organised the 3 day Masterclass, do not join a Guided Excursion group without previously having completed an Off Piste Skiing course..
The Guided Excursion groups are not lessons. It is a requirement that you are a capable Off-Piste skier to join them. If you are not confident that your ability will be of the standard required then please contact us before booking into either of these groups.
If you are not to the required standard, you could put other members of the group in danger and will be asked to leave the group by the High Mountain Guide whose decision is final
If you are asked to leave an off piste group by the High Mountain Guide, your joining fee will not be refundable.
