Breakfast and half board options for passholders staying in self catering accommodation

If you prefer the privacy of staying in your own apartment or have chosen one of our shared accommodation packages these options are perfect for you, rather than prepare your own breakfast and dinner every day you can choose to be catered for as if you were staying in a three star hotel. Breakfasts will be served in a three star hotel and dinners in the Rendezvous, one of the better standard restaurants in Alpe d'Huez.

The Pic Blanc Hotel Dinner Upgrade

If you have chosen to stay at our principle host hotel Le Pic Blanc and would prefer not having to eat out every night, then this is the best choice for you.  A three course buffet style dinner with multiple choices is served every evening* from 19.00 through to 22.00.



Three course dinner @ 25€ per dinner (*dinner is not served on Saturday 16th March)
For dinner in Le Pic Blanc Hotel choose the upgrade to half board option within your account

Ski & Snowboard hire
For 2013 we have negociated for European Gay Ski Week passholders a wide selection of this season's skis, boots, and freestyle / freeride boards available  from our suppliers shops throughout the resort at what are probably the lowest individual hire rates available in the resort. The indicated prices are for 6 days.
Ski Packs - these include Skis, poles and boots
  Bronze These skis are suitable for beginners and low intermediates 56.50€
  Silver These skis are suitable for middle to high standard intermediates 68.50€
  Gold These skis are suitable for Experts 79.50€
  Skis only

Ski and Snowboard School

In Alpe d'Huez, we are only working with  'gay friendly' instructors who work to the highest standards, and they will be creating, specifically for the passholders of the European Gay Ski Week, Europe's only gay ski & boarding courses. With a minimum of 14 classes available for you to join, there are, whatever your level, opportunities to improve your ability, technique and confidence.

Having listened to feedback from those of you who participated in last years ski & snowboard school we are continuing with the monday morning start nfor on beginners  giving those of you joining the higher level classes a day to get back into your stride before being graded into your classes.
         
       Tuition With European Gay Ski Week Ski & Snowboard School
  • The ski school groups will be made up entirely of European Gay Ski Week Passholders. Non passholders are not allowed to join these classes.
  • Maximum number of people in each group: 6 - 9 people. This optimises learning time and ensures close attention is paid to all group members. These classes are subject to a minimum of 5 people per class. If there are 4 or less people in a particular ability class you will be transfered to a general ski school class of the same ability or offered a full refund.
  • Morning only lessons (excluding beginners) - allowing you time to socialise and enjoy a leisurely lunch on the mountain, prior to sloping off to play with your friends.
  • 5 day courses allowing you to join the other European Gay Ski Week Guests for your last day
Beginners Course -  2 hours every morning and 2 hours every afternoons Sunday - Thursday                 €168.00
Non-Beginners Lessons - 2 hours 45 minutes every morning from Monday to Friday                                   €126.00
   


Clothes hire from Crevasse Clothing


We have teamed up with Crevasse who specialise in hiring all the clothing that you will need to stay comfortable on the mountain whether you are skiing, snowboarding or just going for a stroll.

Crevasse also have all the accessories that you will need.

If you wish you can hire just a single item or you can just hire everything that you will need for your days on the slopes.

All you need to do is tick the items you want within our booking system and make sure you also tick your gender and size and then once you arrive in resort you go to the Crevasse rep who will be at our welcome meetng and collect what you have ordered. It could not be simpler and more convenient.
