Event Pass, Lift Pass & Carré Neige (insurance) details
There are two types of event pass available,
  • Skiers / Boarders event Pass.If you are going to be skiing or boarding during the week you will need this event pass. It entitles you to purchase a discounted lift pass and allows you access* to the guided groups, the EGSW exclusive ski school the Deux Alpes awayday and all the other on piste activities which will be taking place during the week and of course all the other EGSW activities and events listed in our programme throughout the week

  • Pedestrian / Cross country skiers combined event & lift pass. If you are coming just for the parties or are one of those serious athletes who induge in that exhausting pastime of cross country skiing then this is the pass for you. This pass gives you access* to all of the EGSW activities and events that are taking place throughout the week provided that they are accessable to non skiers. This pass does allow unlimited use of all the pedestrian accessable lifts throughout the resort, so you will be able to reach at least one of our lunchtime meeting points every day.

With either type of event pass, the earlier make your booking the lower the cost will be and also if you book it at the same time as you book your accommodation you will automatically be given the EGSW passholder preferential rates for the accommodation which are lower than the rates you will find on the accommodation suppliers own websites
Other benefits include

A discounted Grand Galaxie Ski Area lift pass (not applicable for Pedestrian / Cross country skiers event passes)

 Also given to the European Gay Ski Week Passholders are the following:- 

  •  Free admission to the following events
    1. The Virgins and Veterans Fayre on Saturday afternoon and evening, with free welcome drink.
    2. The Pool Party (including either a free cocktail or a half price drink of your choice). Advance booking required, further details>>> ***
    3. All our Parties (including either a free cocktail or a half price drink of your choice) and guest club nights.
    4. All the events hosted by DJ Slamma (including either a free cocktail or a half price drink of your choice, subject to type of event)
  • Free Ski or Snowboard Guided groups (subject to your ability)
  • Access to our exclusive European Gay Ski Week  Ski School - ski or snowboard lessons with a maximum of 6 – 9 people (lessons must be booked and paid for in advance)
  • Free Transfers to all Grand Galaxie Ski Domains, further details>>>.
  • Access to privatised terraces on the mountain every lunchtime
  • Free admission to our Après Ski every day
  • A free welcome cocktail of half price drink of your choice drink at the Après Ski every day
  • A free welcome cocktail or a half price drink of your choice at each of the parties
  • Access to all other gay ski week events and activities
  • Discounted hire of your ski and snowboard equipment (advance booking on the European Gay Ski Week website required)
  • For those of you who have your own snowboard or skis, we have not forgotten you. If you go to our equipment partners shops you will on production of your event pass get a €10.00 discount on a standard ski or board service
  • Unlimited free access to the outdoor Pool and the Ice rink with a pedestrian / Cross country event pass (for skier/ boarder event pass holders you have the same access on presentation of your lift pass in combination with your event pass).
  • Use of 20 + pedestrian ski lifts, cable cars and gondala's**
  • free access to 35km of walking trails**
  • free access to 50km of cross country ski tracks**

Cost of a 6 day Lift Pass if purchased with or after you have bought an event pass.
(the standard cost for 6 day lift pass is 225.00€)

Discounted lift passes of any duration between 3 and 15 days are also available for passholders.

The discounted lift passes can only be obtained by booking them through our website or from our customer service desk or at the welcome meeting. If you do not have an event pass lift passes can still be purchased from our customer service desk but at the standard rates.

*For most events access is free, however for events where food or additional services are provided by 3rd parties it may be charged for. . Events in some venues may reach thier capacity from time to time and EGSW reserves the right to restrict admission should this occur.

***The Pool Party has a limited capacity due to health and safety regulations and must be booked in advance. Places for this party will be allocated on a first come first served basis
