There are three options of how to come to the European Gay Ski Week.

  1. You can book to share a hotel room or an apartment with other guests of the European Gay Ski Week through our website, this option is known as a 'shared accommodation package' and includes special rates for students, under 23's and couples

    These packages start from:-

    239€ for students and under 23's

    249€ for couples  (per person)

    259€ per person for singles.

  2. You can book a hotel room or an apartment  exclusively for yourself or for yourself and your friends through our website, to see the accommodation that is available for exclusive booking, please follow this link>>>

  3.  You book your accommodation independently and book either your lift pass + event pass or  just your event pass from our website.

Shared Accomodation Packages for Singles Couples & Groups


Our shared accommodation packages are designed to give you the opportunity to come to EGSW and stay in whatever standard of accommodation that you want but without having to take on the cost of whole apartment or a single occupancy room. If you take one of these packages we arrange for you to share the accommodation of your choice with other guests who also wish to stay in the same standard of accommodation.

The rooms and apartments will be allocated several weeks before the event. Once the room allocations have been made we will pass on to you the contact details of your room mates so  you can contact them before the start of the week.

If you book as a couple, you will most probably be sharing a double bed and you will be almost certain to get a room to yourselves in an apartment, it may be the living room, but it will be just you  sleeping in there.

If you have one or two friends who want to come with you, you will all be put in the same accommodation together, just sharing with one or more others as well. If there are four or more of you we will try to put your own private studio or apartment.
There are two types of shared accommodation package available

The Party Package - includes accommodation and your event pass

If you want to come to all our parties but are not so sure about skiing or boarding this is the package for you.  This will allow you to access to all of our events free of charge* and if you should decide that you want to give skiing or boarding a go, just let us know when you are in the resort and we will sort it out for you, still getting all the passholder discounts that you are entitled to.
The All in One Package - includes accommodation, your lift pass and an event pass

Strictly for Skiers and Boarders this is the best entry level pricing available for every standard of accommodation. all the events are free of charge, you have access to our private ski school, You can join in with the guided groups and use the free transfers to the different ski domains throughout the week.

The Pic Blanc Hotel

The Pic Blanc Hotel is fully privatised for the European Gay Ski Week passholders. The huge covered terrace and the majority of the rooms enjoy a breathtaking view of the valley and the peaks and glaciers of the Romanche mountains. The Pic Blanc is a superb quality hotel in a great location.

Ideally located in the Quartier des Bergers, it is less than 250 meters from the pistes and lifts and the resorts ski / shuttle bus stops right outside the door

The hotel offers a wide range of facilities and great panoramic views from the unusually spacious bedrooms.

Once inside Hotel Le Pic Blanc you can relax in luxurious surroundings in front of the open  log fire in the bar, on the glassed in terrace or on your rooms private balcony. All hotel guests, have free use of the Spa centre which comprises an indoor swimming pool, Jacuzzis, Saunas and fitness centre. There is also beauty treatments and massage services available.

Le Cristal de l'Alpe



The residence is located right in the centre of the village on the main square just above the Avenue de Jeux. It could not be in a better position, it is close to everything you may need during the week. The main shops, bars and restaurants are right in front of the residence. All the EGSW party venues, the resorts pools and the sports centre are within 500 metres. Most of the other EGSW accommodation is within 2 minutes walk and most importantly of all, the ski lift which takes you to the main hub of the ski area, our guides and ski schools meeting points is only 200 metres away.









The Ours Blanc Residence
The Ours Blanc residence is located in the centre of the resort on the Avenue de Jeux set back from the road and adjacent to the Royal Ours Blanc Hotel. 

The nearest Ski Llft is within 300 metres of the accommodation and takes you directly to the meeting point for the EGSW guided groups and the Ski School. Also within moments of this accomodation you will find the majority of the Alpe d'Huez's shops, restaurants, bars and clubs together with the Outdoor pool, Ice rink and the Sports Centre with its numerous facilities.

 


The France Loc Residence
 
This is a 2 star residence which is located in the Quartier de Bergers next door, with only 20 metres to walk, to the main entrance of our principal hotel and its bars which we have privatised and is exclusively for the use of European Gay Ski Week passholders and their guests throughout the week.

The residence is also conveniently situated for the pistes, lifts, ski school and the European Gay Ski Weeks' guides meeting point which are all within 250 metres, as are the local shops, bars, and restaurants.

The apartments are either south east or south west facing. The studios &  apartments vary in size from 2 2m²  to 42m².    All the apartments have fully equipped kitchenettes, electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, electric coffemaker and dishwasher. Disposable linens included. Kitchen cloth and towels not provided. At the end of the week, the accommodation must be cleaned before the keys are returned at the end of your stay.







How it works

You can book these inclusive packages whether you are a single person a couple or a group of people and within all standards of accommodation* we have apartments that can sleep between 4 and eight people.

If you are a single person making booking you will be allocated a place in an apartment of the standard that you have booked sharing with between three and seven other people, who most likely will have booked the same standard of accommodation and package as you.

If you are a couple you will be allocated a specific sleeping area which will most likely be equipped with a double bed within an apartment of the standard that you have booked. The additional empty places will be allocated most likely to other people who have booked the standard of accommodation and package as you.

If you are two or three people and make one booking between you or book individually quoting the booking reference of the first person who booked in the box provided, then most likely all of you will be put in the same apartment*1.

If you are a group of four people and make one booking for all four of you or book individually quoting the booking reference of the first person who booked in the box provided, then all four of you will be put in the same apartment*1.

If you are a group of more than four people you need to book as set out  in the paragraph above 'If you are a group of four people' then once the first four have completed thier booking, the other members of your group proceed and make thier bookings quoting the booking reference of the first person in your group who booked, in the box provided. If there is up to seven of you, we will, if there is an apartment of that size available, arrange for you all to share one apartment. However this cannot be guaranteed and your group may be split between two apartments with some of you sharing with people from outside your group. 

You have one or more friends that want to come but you have already made your booking. If after you have booked you have a friend or friends who want to come, all your friend(s) need to do is to quote your booking reference in the box provided and we will allocate them a place in the same apartment as you.  If more friends of the occupants apply to share an apartment than there is a capacity for in the apartment, then the sharing places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. 
Note re the studio's & apartments

 
Some apartments will only have 2 keys available for the guests regardless of the number of people staying in the apartment, in these circumstances all arrangements regarding the keys and access to the apartment must be made between the occupants of the apartment.


 

The opening hours of the main receptions do vary but below is a general indication of what you might expect:

Monday to Friday 9:00 to 12:00 and  17:00 to 19:00          Saturday and Sunday 8:00 to 12:00 and  13:30 to 21:00

Arrivals after 17:00,                    departures before 10:00
 
There is a visitors tax of between 0.70€ and 3€ per person per night and a damage deposit which will be payable in the resort direct to your accommodation provider. There amounts of the deposits vary from residence to residence and there are different conditions with regard to end of stay cleaning for each residence. The occupants of the apartments are responsible for confirming with thier residence the individual conditions that apply. Cleaning charges will be deducted from your deposit if these conditions are not met.
